Since my last cancer surgery my left arm had lost a lot of strength the stick steering on my boat with a 50 hp merc 4 stroke had always been tough to steer finally got to be to much bought a hydra steer stick steering and in the process of installing it now has anyone used this system before or have any experience with it just curious project is going well might even be able to finish it tomorrow wish me luck.

Has stick about 12 in tall with a suicide type handle so that u can make the 2 revolutions to go from lock to lock I mounted mine right above the location of the manual stick steer the only thing that is exposed is the stick itself with a hole drilled in the gunnel to access fill plug works really well but I would recommend mounting it as high as possible for comfort steering when on plane I have power pedestals in the war eagle which allows me to get low for more comfortable steering when motoring purchased unit from boatstore usa online.
