I've seen it this bad before, but it's been the late 1970's. I would like to shoot anothern or 2 before season goes out.

My sons duck/goose hunt all season long, I think they would rather waterfowl hunt than deer hunt anymore. The day after Christmas my sons, daughter in law and a couple of their friends went out hunting and ole dad managed to still hit what he was aiming at. It was a great day, at the end of it we all got in some shooting, spent a great day together and everyone brought home some meat for the table.

Hope you guys don't mind a old picture.....1983 to be exact.
I had just came in from duck hunting and my 3 year old son Jr. was so excited to see some ducks I told my wife to grab the camera and get a picture of his excitement. You can just see it in his expression, well to this day as I mentioned in the above post he still is hooked on ducks.

Got to hunt with both my boys Saturday. First time in a while I got them together. We did not shut the woods down. But spending time with both of them together made it worth while
    Making great memories.

My son (right) and some of his friends went duck hunting this Thanksgiving morning and had some luck down here in south Arkansas.

I had marinated some from earlier this week in Allegro, then wrapped with bacon, and grilled some today for Thanksgiving dinner and the duck breasts went faster than the ham did. Glad the boys had a good time and glad my family liked what I did with the meat. GTT

It’s been a slow season so far for us. Warm temps and a dry November has made it slow. Had plenty of time to deer hunt though.
