Here's a picture of the young man that "bought" the duck hunt benifitting St Jude. This is a tremendous gift from someone like him! He's the son of a life long friend and I look forward to hunting and fishing with him in the future.

I was fortunate to hunt this years St Jude's Fundraiser sponsored by Arkcrappie. He was an excellent host and made sure we were well fed with flat head catfish, crappie, a "secret" recipe deer steak which was fine as I've ever had and a couple of awesome breakfasts in the blind. Kent did an excellent job of putting us on some ducks in spite of the warm weather. I enjoyed the company and definitely learned a few things while I was there. Even though my marksmanship skills need improvement, feel I did contribute to the overall effect of the hunting experience by going to the plug as often as possible. Here are a few pics from the hunt.

I really appreciate you guys and your generous donation to St. Jude!!! That makes you guys the Heroes!!! The hospital has a 90% cure rate on childhood cancer and fine people donating their hard earned money like you guys did, is what has made that possible!! Thanks again and I hope we can share a blind again before long!!!

Maybe next time it will feel a little more like duck season and the 2 pound crappie won't be doing aerials right in front of the blind!!

There's a few pictures from this year's duck hunts. Duck hunting has been no where near its normal so I haven't hunted as much. Good luck to those that are still hunting. We still have a little time left!

I am gonna try to give them hell these last 3 weekends..But it has been tough!!
