I too think it is a great idea but for me I think I will get me some of these to fix up as my boxes are always getting wet. Again great the way you have fixed the boxes.

Stevew,
I admire your ingenuity. Great idea.
CK3,
What a great idea to mention old plastic VHS boxes as well. I knew they could still be good for something.
Being goofy and knocking things around at the worst possible time, I picked up a plano pro latch box with no dividers. Gonna use the foam wedge idea and see how it turns out.
I made up 45 of the VHS/noodle jig boxes and I just love em!!!
Now my jigs are sorted by size and material used. Easy to do and
easy to use. When I unload the boat I just put em on the shelf and they're good to go next spring!!!!
Great idea Steve, you're a genious:)
Made up one of thse boxes. Sure makes the jigs look GOOD lined up in rows vrs. just thrown in a section of a tackle box.;):)
Didnt have a pic then. Here's one now. Thanks for the idea stevew.:)
Those jigs looks good in your new box bowman ;) Got to love all the things we learn from each other on this site :):):)
Thanks goes out to stevew :)

I decided to use clear VHS boxes. I've got 7 full so far, and working on more.
Gman
I bought some ammo boxes at the gunshop and use those partitioned boxes.....have one for 1/16 ounce jigs, one for mini jigs and one for the 1/8 ounce. Just slip the jighead into the shell compartment and the skirt shows. Holds a hundred jigs in each box. Best to take a few jigs along when picking out the plastic boxes.
