    Default Driftmaster rod tip savers

Has anyone ever used them?I was thinking about getting some to help my rods from always getting tangled.

I have them and am pleased. There are two minor flaws with them. First, depending on the type of reel you use they may not be tall enough. I use spinning reels and due to them hanging so low I had to attach some risers to get them up a little higher. Second, due to me using 12 foot rods the distance between the holder the rod butt rests on and the tip section is pretty far apart. This causes my rod tips to bounce a lot. I would recommend buying two sets, using only one butt holder and spreading the two tip sections a certain distance apart to cradle the tips better.
Hope this made sense since I seemed to have difficulty trying to explain this. If it is confusing let me know and I will try to do a better job of explaining. I can also send you pictures of the risers if you think that will help.
