I've Done Some Drop Shot Fishing In The Past And Line Twist Is Common. When The Bait Sticks Out From The Side It Spins While On The Drop.
I Bought Some 3" Plastic Baits From Bass Pro Called "tripple Ripple Grub." I Can't Remember Having Line Twist From Dipping For Crappie Untill Now.
It Twisted So Bad It Kinked The Line About 10' Up.
Do Any Other Grubs Cause Line Twist?

Have you changed line brands ? I just started useing mr crappie 4lb camo and it seems to be prone to twist and has memory like an elphant.
