You caught the shrimp with a cast net or trawl?

"Big Lake" is actually the name of a community on the lake. If you look at a map the lake is south of Lake Charles and is called Calcasieu Lake.

Dwayne, that awesome buddy. I paid 1.50 for shrimp like that 3 weeks ago and them Saturday I paid 2 dollars for 21-26 mixed with 15-20's. Also bought some gumbo shrimp at 1 dollar a pound for shrimp from 70 to 100 count. It just doesn't make sense.

Gene, a lot of people up here in NWLA wouldn't complain about them prices too much! I just paid $2.25 for 16/26 last week down in Golden Meadow. Seemed like a good deal so I stocked up!

Dwyane, great job on the reds and shrimp! I know that'll be some good eating!

    Hey Dwyane -
You caught those reds up or down? You know, it's "Dog Time" on Big Lake now!

Hey Warren, I caught them in a cast net. Pete, not sure what you mean by up or down (I am guessing you are talking about fly fishing). We caught the reds on shrimp on the bottom but also caught some on LSU cocahoes.
    Thanks for all the replys.:D
