    Default Smithville 6/4

Took my 10 year old granddaughter up to Smithville yesterday afternoon. We put in a W and fished the west bank up to Rock cove. We caught quite a few fish but only had 4 keepers in the 10 to 12 inch range. She was using a pink jig head with a pink/white panfish assasin and was wearing me out. I started with a black/chart tube but after her 3rd fish to my none I went to a pink/white tube. All of the fish we caught were around timber in 5 to 8 foot of water. After she got tired of fishing we rode up towards the dam and the white bass were busting the top of the water everywhere. We pulled up close to them and she started throwing her jig in the middle of them and caught 3 or four before we left. Needless to say we had a blast.

Good job. I bet she had a blast.

Momma is out of town this evening so my 3 year old daughter and myself are headed to Bass Pro. She actually loves going.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

    Default good times

i kinda hate it when my old lady puts something pink on (because it is cute) and it works better than my normal colors...
Why do I have to press 1 for English?

Don't get no bettern that. Well done!
We do not want the gift of a fish; neither do we expect a lesson on fishing; what we direly need is a chance to fish
