    Default Smithville, Camp Branch

Does anyone have any fishing reports from the Camp Branch side of Smithville?

Thanks for the update. I'm going to try that arm of the lake this week. Seems like there's been a lot of reports from the main arm, but nothing from that side. Was wondering if it's being underfished. Where were the brush piles you fished? Were they they new ones that were put out this year?

White Bass are surfacing everywhere right now at Smithville. They are chasing all the new Shad. They are finicky at what they want. We caught around 30 last night. Kept only 8-10 that were good sized.

Main lake Walleye are up on the points. I catch them just throwing for White Bass. Crappie are there too, but not in big numbers yet.

Crappie, are scattered, some shallow and some heading for the deeper structure. We had a couple over 13" last night, and a bunch of shorts.
