    Default Jighead and Jig Colors

What is the best combination that has worked for you so far this Spring?

    Mine would be the following:
    1. Black 1/8 oz with Blk/Char SlabBuster
    2. Gold 1/8 oz with Wht/Char SlabBuster
    3. Black 3/16 oz with Blk/Char 2" WoolyBeavertail

    Default jig rigs

jig head colors have not seemed to matter as much as the color of the plastics. i try to use smaller jig heads and if it's windy or if we're doing some kinda fast trilling, i sometimes will use 2 jigs 18-24" apart with a splitshot 10" above top jig for the extra weight. but then again sometimes i will just use 2 heavier jig heads... still learning and trying different things...

best plastic colors so far for me have been:

Slab busters: blue with silver sparkle tail
Slab busters: orange with white tail
Slab busters: white with chart sparkle tail
curly tail: blue and black head with green sparkle tail
Why do I have to press 1 for English?

    Plain 1/16 jig heads

    Yamamoto tubes

    Chart/ solid white
    Orange/chart with pepper
    Blue/sparkle clear tail slabbuster

And pretty much anything that camo isn't using is catching fish for me.

I use 1.5" Lil' Hustler Jigs with 2 unpainted 1/16 oz jig heads on the line. Favorite color is the tri-color, black/chart, blue/chart, and white/chart.

The plain lead head jigs we make 1/16oz weedless most of the time
with various colors of slabbusters......always always start out with either electric chicken
