Bob is in Indiana. I am in Alabama. Dad sent me a Bait Pump and Crappie Candle.

    June 2, 2009

I really think it was a blessing when Randy and Anna Hulin designed and invented the bait pump. I had heard so much about it over the past year but never got around to getting one. My dad, Bob Spare, sent me one for this coming Father's Day. I could not wait until Father's Day to check it out once I saw it.

It is extremely well constructed and immediately made me throw away all the syringes I had been trying to use with no good results.

Now I had no more mess when fishing Crappie nibbles. I do like to add a little cut up marshmallow, a few drops of anise and some cod liver oil to my mixture. If I was chasing channel cats I would add some crushed wheaties and creamy p-nut butter.

I love the way it cleans up after use too. Right now I am using a tube to cover the nozzel to keep the nibbles from drying out. My friend David Shands is sending me a cover he designed for that purpose. Anyway, if you fish tubes and love to add a mixed scent to the bait, then get a bait pump.

This review was by me and I personally approve this message.
