From College
Single mom holding down two jobs and put herself thru college 4 years
Dad is bum, no support payments, calls the kids about every two months.
Her graduation was in Indianapolis
It was nice trip........the grandkids got to see both sides of life
They got too see 3 panhandlers (bums) sitting on the sidewalk with cups begging for money. Were they ever surprised.
Then they got to see people going for masters degrees etc.
So Pa used that as life lesson,..........you can either panhandle or shape up and get a degree.
There was one speaker there that I hoped made impression on the kids.
She quit school, got married 3 times when back to school, and got college degree with 3.94 GPA she cried as it took her 38 years to get her life on track.....she had standing ovation.
