Good luck. I used to do a little night light fishing. Its very productive in the summer.

for night lights, my old man swears by home-made head lights from a car mounted in foam that float on top of the water, but lately i've seen folks using a submersible tube style green light.

which one works better or does it matter????

all i've heard is that the lights don't do too much unless you let them set for at least 45 minutes...

We got home about 4 am last night and had 14 nice keeper crappie and who knows how many white bass... I just havent got on them like Chris Farris has,.....we use the green tube lights and minnows...I caught several nice ones on a swimmin minnow jig and were fishing in 45 fow.. I think the tube lights are a lot more convinient and use less power. Havent tried white light for several years. Great night to fish at Stockton!!!
