    Default manuals?

I was sure there was a thread with a web site for getting repair manuals. I've searched and can't find one can anyone give me a shove in the right direction. The old shifter decided to fall apart on the trailer at the ramp this morning. I found the problem the shaft that the handle rides on is stripped. I 'm headed to the store in the am for parts, I'd like to know how to adjust the cables with the new part installed (if needed)
    Thanks,
    Grady

    Thanks IBNFSN,
I found out this morning the control box isn't Mercury so the shop is going to look for parts on Monday. I'd like to avoid the $350.00 price for a new control box.
In the mean time I can look at the boat an wish.
