    Default Jigs/Tubes/Spoons

I keep reading about how people are using jigs, tubes, and spoons to catch crappie. Now can someone link me to these and tell me where I can pick some up. We aren't making our trip to Canada so we are having a panfish fry this summer and we need to get back on the Crappie. I've only had luck with minnows and bobbers this year, and I'd much rather be casting and reeling, but I'm having issues finding things that work and techniques that make them work.

Any and all input regarding where to buy them, what colors, and how to use them would be amazing!

I like solid chartreuse in 1/32 or 1/16 oz. Fish it "slider style", and you can't go wrong. If you can't catch fish on this, take up golf.

Bass Pro, Cabela's, and several guys on this site sell them. They're simple to tie yourself, also.

If I knew that the slider style was, I'd sure do so. Do you mind ellaborating on that a little more? And I only tie my hooks/jigs/lures on one way - with the typical fishing knot.

Do I need to learn something new? This is my first year taking up Crappie fishing seriously - usually I just catfish at nights and bass fish when I get back home with the friends..

But I'm trying to give a good run at it.
