    Default Bucksaw Adventure

Well I took my family to Bucksaw camping this weekend after trying to talk my kids out of it and it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, only seen one person get arrested. The crappie were bitting pretty well, we were catching them anywhere from 40 ft to 12 ft of water about 7 to 15 feet down, with most of the big crappie coming from aroung 20 feet of water and 10 ft deep around hedge trees. It got pretty hot in the afternoon so we took refuge under U highway bridge where the white bass were tearing the top of the water up, it was good practice for my 9 year old daughter using a spinning rod, she had a blast catching them two at a time.

I caught a nice walleye up there two years ago on a crankbait. Glad you had a good time with the family on a busy weekend.

I've Been To Campgrounds Where I Thought I Was Going To Have To Take Cover. Voices Can Be Heard A Long Way. Agruments The Whole Campground Heard. Bucksaw Is Nice Place. Much Better Than I Have Seen Other Places.

I Agree On Where The Big One Are. You Nailed It.
    I Wish I Was There.
