Try the bigger beavertails, I think they go up to 3.5 inches.

2.5" crappie tubes. I like the orange, red, lime green and yellow with the glow chartruse tail. I would buy them in 3" if they were available. extra plastic in the head helps keep the tube on jig. I put them on 3/16ths crappie pro jigs. the red and chartruse jigs look killer with those bodies. Lots of room in the tube body to fill with bait pump nibbles. Pretty rugged tubes at a decent price.

Rocky Top had some 3" tubes in crappie colors the last time I was there last fall.

Bobby Garlond or Rocky Top 3" for me. To it Tops are a solid body tube. Garlonds are the 45 degree tail. 1/8 oz jigs about 8" apart. Does the trick on Truman. Hedge and hardwoods are my favorite.

I will tip the 3" baits with the 3" Gulp minnows or live minnows in the dead of summer. Caught some dipping 4 ft of water before MO state championship last summer.
