Thinking of upgrading to a color finder and looking at a Lowrance X67C

    Does anyone have any input?

All of them are good. The more you spend the more features you get.

I have an x67 on the dash and an m68c on the trolling motor. The m68c is a better finder. It is a little small when I have the gps/finder screen on for finding waypoints. but for the price they are both excellent and find brush, stumps, and fish:D

I had an eagle(lowrance) 320c, and was not impressed. Showed fish when it wasn't flashing trying to find bottom or signal or whatever. Did this running and at rest. I used to say it had gone to lunch. Sometimes it was a couple of seconds, sometimes several minutes. I have since seen several others in that same size unit package( same size as the cuda) that act the same, 2 of them worse. I do know someone who has a LMS 522 Lowrance, sonar and GPS, and that's a great unit. Also in a much bigger package and twice what I paid for mine. My unit was about $250 and I was disappointed at it's performance.

I love my Lowrance 520C I bought a second one for the console and networked them together. Expensive yes, but worth every penny in my mind.

I have a Lowrance X100 I have been thinking of selling. Had it on the front (no GPS on it) and it got replaced by my bigger Lowrance when I got my Humminbird 1197. Never had any trouble out of it.

I bought one a couple years ago and just love it! It is much easier for these
almost seventy year old eyes to read. Especially looking at the bottom for
structure, it really differenciates the bottom and fish. Thinking about buying
another one for the front of the boat.
