Default Any of you tried Sufix® Performance Braid™ Line

I use Power Pro and SpiderWire a good bit and have not tried Sufix so if any of you know if it's as good or better I sure would like to know more.

    Thanks,

Not sure if it's better or worse than the others, but I do like it. I use the 30# stuff.

Thanks for the info I really appreciate it.! I tried the new (back a while) Ultracast SpiderWire and found I didn't like it any better than Power Pro and Power Pro cost less. I was thinking of moving up to 15# or 20# from 10# and you say that you use 30#? Do you find it just as good as the smaller sizes? I have some 30 # power Pro and SpiderWire I guess I could try that too.

    Good info thanks again!

Right now Sufix has a special on with a mail in rebate for $10 so it's a good savings.

30# Sufix is all I have ever used, so I can't really comment on the smaller sizes.

It's what Larry Dahlberg uses (the Hunt for Big Fish guy.) Of course, he's gonna switch to Power Pro since Shimano (his main sponsor) bought them.

Can't remember if it was Cabela's or Bass Pro, but they say it on the site when you pull up Suffix Braid. I think it was at Cabela's I saw it.

hey skip i use it on my saltwater stuff in the 20 lb green color. what i really like about it is you can feel every little bite those baite steelers make. the only down size its still expensive. i have been thinking about putting it on my new spinning but i can only find down to 10 lbs. bass pors has it. would love to get some of it in either 6lb or 4 lb.

Heck I am moving up from 10#to 20#. I was actually going to get some Power Pro in 15#, but Walmart didn't have 15 so 20 it was. Even 20# is the size of 6# so small enough still.

It should be ok their other lines are good.

I have powerpro #10 one one of my ultralites and like it,the feel of the hit and hook set is unreal.I cann't cast it as far as the other lines but still like it in them hard to get to spots.

Skip....I bought some during winter as bass pro was out of the hi vis yellow power pro i usually use 10/2. I was heading on a trip and it was the only thing they had in so I thought I would give it a try. I have some in 10/2 and 30/6. It's comparable to power pro, but I think the power pro is a little stronger. I have seemed to break off a little more often with the suffix, but its not bad. I like the orange color for visibility, but I will respool with power pro next time.
