    Default sickel hooks


    Going to try sickel hooks. Need opions on hook size. My thinkin I want #2 hook for 1/16 & 1/8 oz. What do you all think?

    Keep in mind that sickle hooks are a little larger than say Eagle Claw.

    I use #2 on my 1/8 oz jigs and #4 on my 1/32,1/24 and 1/16oz jigs.

    I would go with a #4 on the 1/16 the gap is larger then a regular hook

    That would be about right in Mn, but down here where the biguns grow, I like a # 2.

    patrick, the hooks used on Grenada don't apply anywhere else!!!

    Go with the bigger hooks for grubs and the smaller ones for tying hair jigs.
