OSS was the best around but he is retired. It was rough out this weekend. Sure makes me glad I run a Champion.

    Default High Frequancy Welder

Oss Has A Bad High Frequancy Unit. $500 To Replace It. I Don't Think He's Wanting To Spend The Money.

    I May Be Wrong.

    Default Coffee

I think OSS might still be burning up from that cup of coffee he spilled.

Pays to be at camp doesn't it? :D You know or learn all the inside stuff.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

Default Sorry About Ur Boat V

I Would Fix It For You But The High Freq. Unit Is Out Of My Heli- Arc And It Would Take $500 To Fix It Plus Hauling It To The City, I Can Still Weld Steel And Tig With It, But No Aluminum.... Sorry Man Or I Could Help You Out..........maybe Try W-m Welding Up In Sedalia....... They Are Good....... Started My Career There......

Yeah you get to learn all the good stuff, and even some stuff you would be better off NOT knowing.

After meeting OSS I have no doubt that he would fix V-Max's boat if there was anyway he could. The folks on this board would do pretty near anything for a forum member, a fellow fisherman, or even Joe Schmo that they have never met before. I have never met a better group of people than those at the A Loop last weekend.

Good luck with the boat V.

Some of the prop shops around may do some welding on boats also. Might check with them.
