Hey there Fishin Magician, Man what kind of camera are you using? those pics of your gar fishing are awesome!

I'm fixin to move up from a point and shoot 35 mm to a good digital camera. Just trying to learn a little more about them before I buy. I'm willing to spend the extra money to get a really good one.

I use an Olympus C-750 UltraZoom 10x optical. I bought it for the 10x opt. so I could get nature shots from long range. Its 4.0 mega pixel so has decent quality and turned out takes pretty good action shots. Only problem with it I see is the delay from when you hit the button and when the photo is taken. But I think that is just a digital camera issue.

Oh and I dropped it a couple times on a concrete floor and get it damp all the time in the boat and its still hangin in there after about 2 years.

Thanks Fishin' Magician, I figured it was a pretty nice camera. I'm looking at getting a Sony DSC H1. It's a 5.1 megapixel with a 12 power optical zoom.
