Had good luck today

Went out today and caught quite a few. Brought 36 home 10-1/2 to 13-1/4 inches. Started out fishing off the pontoon slips in the Marina and then went out to a ledge and fished there for awhile. The wind stopped blowing and the water went dead calm and so did the fishing. We picked up one here and there but the size was on the small side so called it a day about 2:00 PM.

what was the water temps there. Are you noticing a fall pattern yet?

I didn't look at the water temp but the lake is getting trash on top like the lake is starting to turning over. We were catching so fast that I didn't take the time to notice the temp. I hadn't been fishing for about a couple of weeks and was eager to see if my pattern was still working and it was. The outside temp got up to 89 and had a SE wind at 5-10 MPH. As long as the wind blew and had a ripple on the water we caught fish, but went the wind stopped so did the fishing pretty much.
