    Default Occasional miss?

Occasional miss in a 93 Evinrude 200? While running on pad I am feeling a miss about every 45 seconds. I have used it all spring 2nd tank of gas new filter so I dont believe its a carb or fuel prob. Power pack? Thx!
Was that a bite? Forgot what they feel like!

My brother has the some problem with his Tracker 25. So...if any of you mechanic-types would like to take a swipe at this....be our guest.

Could be an awful lot of things. I'd try a new set of plugs if you haven't already.

Ran some seafoam thru today in back yard. Will take out and try tomorrow?

That's a good idea. Might have been occasionally firing at the wrong time due to heat in the carbon.

Put some plugs in it. Then check the springs on the end of the spark plug wires that hook too the spark plugs. . Sometimes it will corrode where it pushes through the wire. If not corroded push it through a new part of the wire. You also need to check spark with a spark tester, or you could start pulling wires to see if one hole is not firing. If spark is good you still might have some blockage in a carb.
