I'm down rite now with knee problems. If you were going into jig making, who has the best buy on jig making material for a person to get started. I have a Bass Pro, Gander Mtn, and a Sportsmans Whs. close. Appreciate your input.

Have you visited the Jig Tying forum? You'll find some helpful advice there.
Your question: Bass Pro has decent supplies. Just don't expect any of the workers to understand you if you ask where the chenelle, hackle, or marabou is. BP will be fine to get you started though materials-wise. Barlows and Jann's sells nicer stuff and also has a much larger variety.

Don't forget good ol' Ebay. You can find a tremedous amount of tying stuff on there. For instance I just bought 25 100 yd spools of 210 flat wax in assorted colors for $15.50 including shipping. That's 62 cents each great deal.

Black Crow is on target as this board is not the best place for this post/question. It would get more input and info on the Jig Tying Board.

You talking about pouring jigs or tying jigs? Check out Barlow's, Jann's or Stamina for either.
Take a look at tacklemaking.com and tackleunderground.com also.
Barlows is great! They have a wide selection too.
I live for the thump!
I would contact flatfish46 off the jig tying board. He has the best prices you will find.Unless you have wholesale status with some company's. His prices will be close to wholesale prices. Also look at the swap section on the board and you will find people selling jigs and hooks and whatever you made need to get going.
