I've used it, think it is very hard to beat for the money. In my opinion Trilene XL/Original Stren is still the best mono and Cabela's handles very closed to them at a much better price for the bulk type spools.I've tried about all the different mono and copolymers out there and still prefer the 3 listed over any of them.

How much does a big spool of this line cost a man? I'm ready for something other than BPS Excel for a change.

I love it, have some on reels I have had on there for 2 years now. I will be getting a different color next time. I think I got the blue last time and it is a little to visible for me. Most likely the camo color just because I like the Camo color from Maxima.

For the price I love it. May not be the "top of the line" but I will use it for all species and not worry about it failing because of it being inferior line.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

I have spooled a couple of reels of the Hi-vis...I like it....and comparing it to Mr. Crappie Hi-Vis...its more limp and easier to manage. Personally, if I only had two choices...I would rather have the Cabelas brand then Mr. Crappie. And I still have about 8 spools of Mr. Crappie I have got to run through yet.

It is a good price, over 2 miles of fishing line for $8.99.
