    Default OK to ad Last minute Crappie Campers??


    So my wife and I are sitting here on the couch after I spent the day cleaning the garage (Man, I LOVE Mother's day), and we're checking out what she calls my favorite "fish porn" website here...

    And now she wants to come down to meet y'all and catch a few crappie next weekend. Sounds GREAT to me! Always wanted to go check out Truman, and we love to meet new people.

    I need to know:
    Is it ok to add ourselves to the "list" this late in the game?
    Can anybody point out what campsites might still be available that are OK? IF there are any available!
    Is it ok to bring the rugrats (12 and 10)? (They won't drink much!)

    And most importantly: I have not been to Truman since I was in about 3rd grade. Somebody want to point me toward where we'd be headed to meet up with everybody(campground/boat ramps)?

    Wife won't get off work until 5 on Friday, so we'd be leaving St.Louis at 5:01, probably take us longer to get there than the 3.5hrs it takes us to reach LOZ usually.

    Come on down. Get on the core website or reserveusa and find the closest site to A-44. Will take you just over 4 hours to get here. There is always somebody around the camping area.

    OK - booked site A-45. Hope that isn't TOO close to the action! :D

    They are all close together. Most people will hang out in the evenings at A-44. Group meals and drinks and all kind of BSing.
