    WOW, WHAT A DAY!!!!!!!!

Sam and I met Monty this morning at Finey and decided water was too high there to put in, so we headed over to Bucksaw and put in there. Oh don't let me forget Monty meets us there and has breakfast sandwiches in hand. What a guy.

So we head out and run up toward the Finey area and fished all standing timber including cedars with jigs of any color. Color didn't seem to matter. Caught fish close to timber anywhere from 5 to 12 feet deep typically in 25 foot of water or deeper. Second time fishing with Monty and Sam and I learned many new things again. DROP KICK. WOW!!!!!!!! Let your jig hang there for a little while and if you don't get a bit let it drop about another two feet and BAM, FISH ON!!!!!!!!! Ole Monty just sits in the back of the boat dragging in one fish after another, swinging them right by my head with that 10 foot pole just to make sure I saw it. :D Oh I saw it alright because these were AWESOME FISH!!!

We only kept and brought home 30 and most fish averaged 12"s in length. Every sinlge one of them we cleaned was a female and eggs average in my opinion ready to go or pretty darn close. We only weighed one of them and it went 1.11 #'s. Several of the others would have gone the same I'm sure. Longest fish was 14-1/4 inches.

Man, it was an awesome day on the water and we owe you one Monty.

Oh, by the way we got a picture of Monty with a smile or as close as he comes to it. :D

We drove over and checked out the campsites for Crappie Camp and looks like the water would have to come up alot before we would be in trouble. I sure hope they mow before we all get there.

Went to Everharts after that and stocked up on some things including a new Outlaw 10 footer.

Monty, THANKS FOR A GREAT DAY. We had a blast.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
