A lady I worked with had the Element. She liked it a lot. I rode it in once, and it seemed fine to me.
Like you, though, I'd prefer the CRV or the RAV4.
Anyone got either of these 2 boxes? My wife is thinking of a new car and seems to like one of these. Myself I like the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4, we like to be up high to better see with our old eyes. We have a Hyundai Santa Fe with 109K miles and it has been a good one except for gas milage and the dealer closed down here in town.

Just get her a moped and she'll get better gas mileage and she won't look as rediculous on it.

I bought my wife the Rav4 last year consumer reports best pic of all and it has been one of the best vehicles we have ever had and it will also pull the boat if gas goes up again.
Bought my grandaughter a new element for her 16th birthday in Feb.. So far no complaints at all. Seems to be a really well built vehicle. My daughter would rather drive it than her Tahoe.
That's a great gift.
