been catching crappie at Jacomo and/or Blue Springs yet?

Spoke with a co-worker yesterday who reported that he was out to Jacomo on Saturday with his kids. He said "lots of bites but no fish"...attributing it to their lack of knowledge and experience at their young age.

He also said that word at the lakefront is that the brushpiles are hot.

So....old info....and take it with a grain of salt cuz it's a little "8-degrees of crappie fishing"...but...welcome to the board nonetheless!

I lurk in the shadows most of the time just scouring threads. I'm heading to Jacomo tonight so I'll try to give a report on how it goes. I was going to try the shallows first then move to some brush piles I'm familiar with if the shallow thing doesn't work out.

Are either of these two along I-70?
If not, what is that lake to the north side of the freeway as you go through, it has a big "cage" you can see from the road?

You can't see Blue Springs or Jacomo from I-70. Approximately where are you talking about seeing the lake with the "cage"? What city or crossroad are you near?

I haven't but I'll bet they are close, or good already. I started to go out tonight, but didn't. I'll probable get out Friday evening. Will report after that.
