The K

Now I know there are quite of few people from the KC area on here. I was interested in how many of you have visited the new Kauffman stadium. I've been a few times this year and it is very impressive, looks like new.

Went last night and the atmosphere there was something that I have never experienced at the K. It felt like a playoff atmosphere (definetely don't know what that feels like). The fans were into every pitch and Zach didn't disappoint. It was pretty amazing.

So how many of you have been out to the new K?

its a very nice place i have been working out their the last few months putting in new water and sewer mains for kissick construction. i hope it brings the team a little better luck!

Not yet, but our company has seats (six rows behind 3rd base dugout!) that I hope to use. I was actually offered them for tonight, but havin' server issues so no clue how long I might be here!

Waiting on IBM to call me back and had some time to kill on C.C!!

For a split second v-max, when you said you were "working out their the last few months", I was half-way expecting to hear you were being considered for their pitching rotation.

Went last night and saw them beat those pale hosers again :D:D... The place is amazing. It was cool to see the field from beyond the center field wall, different perspective. They changed the section numbers around and that had me all screwed up. The outfield area is great, lots of places to drink and hang out... Also got to see Jacobs hit the longest homerun I've ever seen. Ball hit the base of the scoreboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does Bo still have the longest HR hit there? That was an awesome shot!!!

I think Bo's was a whopping 475 ft. I think they said Jacobs was something like 443 ft. Either way, those are bombs. Jacob's sure has a nice swing and when he gets a hold of the ball look out. It's going to be a great Summer!
