Good report, Just Loosing. Glad you got into some.
I fished Stockton last friday in the rain and Sunday in the rain and after. Females in deeper water 6-8 feet down. Hit anything with a chart tail. No big numbers but huge fish. they are spread out. We would pick up a few on in one spot and have to move on. Seemed to turn on and off quick. Caught some black males in the shallow, still not on the bank heavy. They are staging and getting ready. The next week or so should get fun if the weather stabilizes. Put in at Ruark and fished both directions out of the ramp.
Good luck.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
Thanks, we cleaned 10 fish sunday and feed my family of four and we love fish. biggest was 14 inches and a pound and a half. All were over 11-12 inches. I have been fishing Stockton for several years and the fish we are getting now are so much bigger than in the past. Last years flooding has definately paid off. oh and Jr. caught an 18 inch eye, good eating.
Good Job, JLT! Thanks for the report. You leave Bender at Home?

Bender looks good in that boat flying past me at 65 or 70. I just hope his fishing gets better and he does not end up all boat and not fish.
