    Default Lake Delhi

Fished Lake Delhi today and only managed (1) 10" crappie, (1) bluegill & (1) bass. The water was muddy with a bunch of junk floating around due to the past weeks rains. Marked alot of fish, but no takers. All fish were caught on minnows around 5' deep. The water surface temperature got up to about 54 degrees when the sun came out. Hopefully we'll get a couple weeks of warm dry weather to get the fish up along the banks.

Tried Delhi again today and only managed 3 crappies; (1) 12" & (2) 11". We did end up with 22 nice gills for the fryer. The crappies were caught 4' deep and the gills were holding close to the bank. Water surface temp started in the morning around 58 and was pushing 62 before we left. Give it another week or so and the spawn should be full throttle.
    Thanks,
