Default You Guys Will Try/do Anything!!!

After reading some of the post today I can see you guys will try anything to catch a crappie. The wildest thing I have seen to date has to be the umbrella rig. I mean it looks like allot of trouble to me. I guess you do what you have to do though! I can't wait to see what else you guys come up with keep it coming!

I guarantee that there are ways that people use to fish that dont get spoke of on here. I know that I have a few tricks up my sleeves.

Yeah, as I've said before, just ask a question - no answers
can mean two things, either it ain't worth your trouble, or else it is LETHAL!
I have shared way more than I ever would have thought on here, heck,
most of the stuff I do is so weird no one will try it anyway :D And those
that do, a lot don't like it. Can only think of two or three things I haven't
shared openly here, and the main one is out of respect for the man that told
me! I have shared stuff and regretted it, small lake South of here, I put
in trolling crankbaits one October, caught a slew of big ones, made 3 boatloads of minnow dunkers mad and they left, but one stayed, and I told
all - went back the next year, and met up with the same guy - he
told me my tricks were hot, but lately weren't working as good. He caught
30 a trip for several months, now they wouldn't bite... He was retired
and fished several days a week. DOH! How many slabs did he think a 200
acre lake could give up without hurting? I get a kick out of "jailhouse raping"
some of the little state parks, but then I don't go back to the same one for
a year or two. A little restraint! Even on the big water, I try not to fish the
same spots more than a couple times in a month. Jeff

It's not the destination as much as it is the journey getting there. Love life . . .
