The wife and I fished on Neely today in the Coosa River Crappie Club tournament and we caught 60-70. We only kept 20. Most of all we had a good day even if we did get rained on
i went off and on fri and ended up with 38 nothing real big i threw back about that many to i got them on black and char. in 4 to 7 ft. water temp was 72 to 75 finally had a good day
i didny even clean them cut themm all lose at my pier i no 38 over limit but u losr count sometimes and i did put all them back .so did i break the law?
.......yes but when you have them days as old as i am u lose thing hahahah....... be safe on the water and have a good time ................

15 teams fished. Big Fish weighed 2.20 caught by Joe Thomas of Pell City
1st place Brian and Buddy Stephens 11.04 lbs 7 fish
2nd place Andre' Reynolds and Yvonne Burt 10.02 lbs. 7 fish
3rd place Terry and Ralph Whaley 9.86 lbs. 7 fish
all teams weighed in with 7 fish limits and 12 of the 15 teams had over 9 lbs.
3 places were paid... Next event is May 16 on Logan Martin.
Most fished were caught on creek and river ledges, the fish have spawned out on Neely and are going back to deeper water.
