TeeZur Tournament

I am seriously considering going down to Kentucky Lake for the Sept 24th TeeZur tournament. The tournament is free with lots of prizes and sounds like a really good time.

I would like to drive down on the 22nd, fish on the 23rd to get to know the lake little bit, fish the tournament on the 24th and drive home on the 25th.

Would like to have a partner go along. Anyone interested?

DeepV do you have ideas on costs for lodging etc? I would need to know more about costs invloved before I can make a decision. How far of a drive is it from Western Pa?

Lodging at the Mansard Island Resort (where the weigh-in is being held) are as follows:
2 Bedroom apt is $68.00/night
2 Bedroom mobile home is $56.00/night

Three day Tennessee fishing license is $16.50.

I have spoken with Richard Williams (1weezer) on the phone and he said that there are others staying at the resort as well.

Deep v, doesnt sound like too bad of a deal. I'll definitely keep it in mind and see how things progress. what kind of boat do you have fishing out of? Have you ever fished down there?
