    Depends on what I'm doing. For float fishing from shore, I like 12-14' match rods (specially designed for float fishing.)

    For casting jigs, I use a variety of light and UL rods in the 4.5-7' range.

    I don't troll, so I'll let somebody else chime in on that.

    BPS Microlight 6'5 ft. for casting jigs, small cranks, (8 pd. Microfuse. 3 pd dia.)

    I use an old BnM 12'er and a Firecast panfish special 12'er for two-pole trolling, and for single pole/single jig I use a 10' BnM UL bottom seat. UL is my favorite by far.
