    Default just an ol'boat trailer


    does any know were i can find a pair of spindles and hubs for a boat trailer with out spending an arm and leg the trailer is old and rusty and im going to use it for a 10ft coleman crawdad and my new trucks bed isnt big enough to put it in the bed of my truck and being able to back up and hook up and head out is always nice :D so any one have any sugguestions or know where i might be able to pick some spinles and hubs for a cheap price?

    i was in the same boat 2 years back and bought from "Southwest Wheel co." out of Dallas TX.

    i got a 3500 lb axle with complete hubs(American made) with a u-bolt kit for 138.00 shipped to my door.

    Now 2 years later i just yesterday repacked my hubs and everything looked good

    Have you tried junk yards or gone in the back of metal salvage yards or marinas (look out in the weeds) or boat dealers (again go look out in the back - maybe when they are closed - find out what is out there then come back when open and dicker with them)to see if they have old boat trailers?
    I see some listed in our classified ads in the newspaper.
