Sunday morning Woods trip

I took the day off from crappie fishing and took an old friend bass fishing. That's all he likes; he can't help it. We were up in Rollins Creek and the fish were biting well. Anyway, I was throwing a chartruse spinner bait and low and behold I got a surprise catch. A just legal crappie was on the other end. So, when we got back we filleted bass, one crappie and another surprise catch, a good sized channel catfish that bit my crankbait. We had a good fish dinner to say the least. The crappie was the best. I set those fillets to the side for myself; don't tell anyone!!!
