Took a sample today
Of my pond crappie. I was impressed. They were about the size of my thumb nail a month ago and they'va already grown this much.:p Won't be long till they are keeper size.:D
O.K. O.K. They didn't actually come out of th pond.:rolleyes: They came from another pond I love near Enid Mississippi. The wind was fierce but I managed to scrape out a few before coming home this afternoon. They were'nt huge 13 to 15 inches. All in about 2 to 4 feet of water. The males had their spawning colors on. Females still had eggs that looked like they could go anytime. No eggs in the males.:D
