Was at the boat launch today and there was a old guy that came in just before me and he was a hoot to listen to. He had so many fish stories and jokes i couldn't help but laugh. He also said he took his limit 2 days in a row with bluegills and had said he got some 10 inches, so i said can i see them, well the fish stories continued and I left never seeing them :)

You can learn a lot from the old timers if you will just take time to talk to them. Good story:):):)

I have a fishin buddy that I get in the boat every chance I get. Hank is pushin 80 and has been fishing as long as he's been walking. He's a wealth of info, but an excellent partner to spend a day in the boat with. So often we get in a hurry and forget to look around at the people that make our sport as great as it is. Had him out last week and he thanked me no less than 4 times for having him out. I was the one getting the better end of the deal. Tight lines.....

Best lessons you will ever learn are at the feet of and older man. They have already been where you are going.
