My best yet

Tues. I went crappie hunting by myself in some sloughs off the lower Alabama River and caught the bigest one yet. I was fishing minnows in tree tops and hooked this 16 inch 2lb 5oz crappie. The fish wrapped a limb on me and I had to do some fast limb pulling. I turned on the trolling motor and started pulling limbs to get to the fish. There was a bost about 40 yards away and they were looking at me wondering what I was doing. I was breaking limbs and the trolling motor was wacking limbs and making a lot of noise. I got to the fish and liped her and I was thinking if I fell in I was not going to turn loose. I am going to put this one on the wall and hope to catch a bigger one next trip.
