    Default Little Nianga ??

How is the clariety of the water in the Little Nianga? We have a trip planned this weekend, and did not want to run that far to find out it was dirty like last year at this time. I know they had some pretty good rain this past weekend. I was hoping it did not ruin it up there?

    Thanks,
    Lee

The Glaize area was clearer than the main channel last weekend. We tore them up especially in the evening.

    Good Luck!

I know the upper glaize got muddy but i'm thinkin by the weekend it should be settled down enough to hammer away on some fish, the dirty water don't scare me as much as the current does it gets muddy every year at this time and it seems to move the fish even shallower after they've had a few days to settle down after the current backs off and with the lake coming up now i'd think the current will be slacked off enough to make that dirty water a help instead of a hinderance.........these are just my thoughts and may not work on the niangua but they have worked for many years on the glaize, good luck.

We faced these same issues last year, although it was sleeting ice too! But we had trouble with the water getting muddier while we were there. Hopefully as bugman says give them a couple days to get used to it.

I can't wait, will Thursday afternoon ever get here??? LOL

Muddy water = larger, noisier, dark baits.
Fish will still be there and will still bite. I prefer stained, colored water myself.
