Welcome aboard, Fillet. Thanks for the report.
Fished from 8am to 3pm up in Glaize arm (state park). 53-57 degree water. Dad and I got 15 keepers (9 1/2 - 11 inches) and 10 shorts. Half of the keepers were full of eggs. 16th ounch tube jigs in different colors, casting. Very, very scattered. The only pattern that we could find is cover, but again, never caught more than one from any brush we could find. I think they are still a week away from schooling on the bank, so if you are heading next weekend, you'll slay 'em.
I am a new-bee to posting, but have enjoyed the website for quite a while. Glad to be here!!
Welcome aboard, Fillet. Thanks for the report.

Welcome Fillet. nice to have u on board.
Welcome from Springfield Missouri.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
you may be right
and i wish you werent.......we were down last weekend and had the same pattern you had today......our experience put 6 fish in the basket today......mind you we are fishing from the dock....
on wednesday, we had 7 in the basket in under an hour, today we fished ALL day and only managed 6
albeit they were all 12 and 11 inchers and one 10
it could be next weekend, or the weather could leer its ugly awful head like it did today and screw everything up!!!
I hope youre right!
Good job Fillet, and welcome to the board.
