    I have had some of my best crappie catches first triple digit temp of year. Shad fry usually working then.

    bet if you keep them on the ground too long, you won't have to fry them in the pan

    we caught 25 Saturday 10-13 inch crappie in about 4 hours, the it was just too hot for us!

    those bream you catch have a really pretty (to me) color -
    gold almost. Is it from the water? I picture brown water from
    lots of standing timber, it doesn't seem to show up in your pics
    as much on the bass and crappie, maybe its just how bream are
    built where you are???

    the water (if you can imagine) a root beer color very clear these crappie are not as colorful as they are from the other spots i fish they are very dark in color we have more black crappie tha white here for some reason i tend to catch white crappie in dingy water (stained) and black crappie in clear water ill post a pic of the area i caught them in later 2 nite tere is a lot of oak and cypress trees in this area i just so happend to be fishing the same spot i allmost killed my self last year while fishing at nite alone i posted the story a few weeks back lol i can laugh now but it wasnt funny when it happend
