    Default Crappie + Bonus

I went to Greers this afternoon trolling beetle spins and roadrunners. Had 18 crappie with some nice ones. Was try to get my limit when one of my ultra lights bounced just a little. Thought I had a small crappie until I turned the handle on my reel one time. It just started stripping line. 15 minutes later I finally got it to the surface then realized I only had my Ego crappie landing net so I had to get my hands in it's gill to land it. It was quite a battle on an ultra light with 10/2 Power Pro line. It weighed 25lbs. 10 ozs. After I got it in the boat I decided I was too tired to try for the last two for my limit. After the pictures I released it back in the lake.

Wow!! With no-stretch 10 lb. line and an ultralight rod, you must have been doing some top-notch fish fighting to land that brute. Congratulations!

Great job on landing that big boy, I say U sure know how to work that reel to keep from breaking rod/line or losing that fish.

Great job creekslick. That's why I fish UL with 4# line. When you land a brute like that you know you got your stuff together. That takes skill brother. Thanks for the pictures.
