Sounds like y'all had a great time
It was nasty weather.
Billbob made it in frome Indiana for a couple of days. We messed with the SI and fished a little and rode a lot (in a Yankee Lund of all things). Managed to pick up a few here and there but the cold front and white caps didn't work in our favor. We got our best fish from fishing my boat dock.:o
Crappiestalker joined us Friday. We had a good chitchat and Billbob took off to go visit Jeff White down in Ms.
Paul and I scavenged the lake and picked up a few. The wind was up as usual. We looked shallow several places and found most fishes in 12 ft of water. Paul let a monster get away. I forgot the net.:o
We had a large time.

Good company. Good catch. I imagine it was a large time.

Nice catch Cane pole and friends. Went out yesterday the 17th and brought home 50 slabs. My fishing partner and I were fishing from bank at a depth of 6ft. Using a slip bobber. Tube jigs of course. Didn't matter what color we used they were hammering the jig. Okay pepper and chartruse was the best color. I tried some thing thought I would share. I had gone steelhead fishing and had a couple of them smoked. Well any way I took a slap of smoked steele with me fishing. I noticed that there was a lot of moister on the skin of the smoked fish. I ate some smoked meat and cut off a piece of skin and rubbed it on my jig. Boy did those crappe hammer the jig. Thought I would pass this info along. ken
At least you got out there. My wife had lots of honey do's planned for me this weekend. I was going to go out at 4:30 am but overslept. By 10:00 she was up and ready to travel so we went to Tennessee Amish country instead and also to the Davey Crockett State Park. Looks like a quality mess of fish. Take care.
