Perch or Crappie ?

Cant make up my mind if i want to go up to Erie ( Walnut Run Area ) or if i want to stay local and fish for crappies at Shenango lake. With the price of gas, i dont want to travel up to Erie and have 3ft waves chase me back home and have to fish for crappies anyway. Guess i'll have to make a choice before the morning.

Don't know about PA, but Ohio has current fishing and weather reports available for Lake Erie.

Thanks Bobbie. I couldn't find anyone to go with me so i went crappie fishing. Did pretty good too. I ran into some family friends at the park and they were having a small reunion. Asked me to bring some fish back for the grill. Kept 26 crappies, most were 9"s, with a few bigger thrown in. They were happy to get them. I was happy to be able to help them out. I'm gonna take my grandson out tomorrow. He turned 7 today, had his party, and now wants to go fishin with Poppa. Man am i blessed.
