I only had 1-1/2 cups of the bean this morning in a rush, now I'm cratering. Ol lady put us on decaf on a whim bout 15 yrs ago. was like someone flipped the OFF switch on me.
Found myself singing the song "if lovin you is wrong I doan wanna be right" to my coffee cup.
Lasted bout 2 days for me, went back to full octane.

Years ago my wife tried to put us on decaf coffee. While I was still working and before taking up the fishing addiction I would spend my Saturdays and Sundays in the basement woodworking and making sawdust. It got to be a recurrent thing where I would develop a severe headache where I had to pop some aspirin and lay down for the headaches to subside before I could get back in the basement and continue making sawdust.
I suggested to my wife that it was the decaf coffee causing my headaches and with much skepticism she quit making the decaf coffee and six months must have passed by where no headaches developed. When I came back upstairs with my sever headache I questioned her if she had made decaf coffee that morning and with much chagrin on her part she said that she had run out of the real coffee and had used decaf coffee that morning. She readily accepted my assertions about me and decaf coffee after that incident
