    Default Amazing eye surgery......

My wife had one eye operated on this morning. Lens implant, etc. All went well.

First time ever in her life that she can read a wall clock without glasses or contacts.

2 more weeks and she gets the other done. No more glasses. No more contacts. Absolutely amazing.

Amazing and great to hear about it.

I don't know and haven't researched it but wonder what the odds are that something like that was developed in say the UK or Europe or Canada places with Health Care Systems envied by the rest of the world.

Tom, my wife Linda just got both of hers done. She can now do everything without glasses except read up close. For that she'll have to use cheaters. Boy is she happy.

LBM, believe it was actually developed in Russia. At least that is where the local drs. went to see the operations firsthand.

PS I have had both eyes implanted with lens and it is great not to have to wear cheaters except when reading and then they are the $19.95 kind.

It is, I had both of mine done 3 years ago. I was amazed at the brightness in the colors especially.
